Three years ago, we launched LibParlor. We’re excited to celebrate another birthday and share some of our highlights from the past year.
- We added Vivian Bynoe and Jordan Wrigley to our Contributing Editor team
- In reviewing our posts so far, we identified areas and perspectives not represented on the blog and have tried to intentionally recruit and seek out those perspectives
- We launched our Classifieds, a space our community has been asking for and we’re so pleased to have available to connect, build, or share ideas and opportunities.
Since our last birthday post, we have…
- Worked with 27 writers
- Published 23 new posts around research
- Welcomed 11,058 visitors to the blog
- Received 24,813 views on our content
The Editorial Team continues to be so thankful for the LISLibrary and Information Science An interdisciplinary field that examines how physical and digital information is organized, accessed, collected, managed, disseminated and used, particularly in library settings. community that has supported us. We continue to dream big for this blog and cannot wait to see where we go in our fourth year.
We want to keep hearing from you. Consider writing for us, submit a classified, share this blog with a colleague, and or let us know what research content you want to see on LibParlor!
